Tilda's Pure Basmati Rice is a fluffy, fragrant, long-grain rice grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. Perfect companion for curries or other Indian dishes. Cooking Tips: Use 1 cup rice to 1.5 cups of water. 1) To make light, tender, and fluffy basmati rice, fill up a bowl with water and wash the rice before cooking so that it releases excess starch. Swirl your hand in the bowl until the water becomes cloudy, rinse, and repeat, until the water is clear. 2) Put water and rice in sauce pan and simmer on medium heat until the surface is bubbly and foamy. 3) Reduce heat to medium low. Place lid on top of sauce pan and cook for 12 minutes. 4) Turn off stove. Remove rice from heat and let is sit for 8-10 minutes. 5) Take lid off, fluff the rice with a fork so that you break apart any clumps. 6) Eat and enjoy!
